You don’t have to take huge steps to change your life. Making even the smallest change to your daily routine can bring a big difference to your life. One change – whether it could be a new idea, decision or habit – can be good enough to completely change it

MIND YOUR MIND

Your thoughts drive how you feel, which internally invoke your actions. It is impossible to be confident and self- assured if your thoughts are filled with self-doubt and judgment.

Ask yourself:
What’s on my mind right now and why?
Are my thoughts helping me?

In truth, you only get one life, so living it by other people’s rules will never make you happy. It takes time to reprogram your thinking. Be more aware of your thoughts.

CHANGE YOUR SLEEP ROUTINE

In present times, late to rise and even late to bed is what keeps us going instead. But, a small change like getting up just 15 minutes earlier that usual can give a head- start to your day. Just give it a try for one week. Wake up just 15 minutes earlier than usual for 7 days, and you will feel the difference.

You can use this time to relax yourself, meditate, practice mindfulness, and what not. When you will start your day on a positive note, you can expect your thoughts to be within control for the entire day. And, that is going to make a big difference in your life!

WRITE A BABY BUCKET LIST

It’s a list of the small things you want to do in the next month. It could be something simple like spending time at orphanages, things you’ve done before and want to do again, like going camping or volunteering, even to continue learning a foreign language.

There are so many adventures out there big and small just waiting to be realised. Now it’s your turn to have a little fun and it’s completely up to you.

BREATHE PROPERLY

People get stressed and their breathing becomes shallow – they forget how to breathe properly. Anytime you notice your breathing speed up and become shallow, stop what you’re doing and inhale deeply – hold for a second and let it out slowly.

Repeat a few times until your breathe naturally slows down on its own. You will feel relaxed and renewed after this exercise. It’s good for your lungs, your digestion, and your circulatory system and of course it’s great for managing stress.

DO WORKOUT

The money, the fame, and everything else for which you are working to earn will be of no use, if you are not in good health. This is the reason that if you do not work out, you need to begin it as early as possible.

It could start with 15 minutes brisk walk in early morning, or even half an hour of Yoga. Lifting weights is all the rage now. It is thought to be the best way to get in shape and it has tremendous benefits for your posture and your muscle strength. Getting in shape makes us happy and healthy as well.

VOLUNTEER TO HELP OTHERS

Sometimes we forget that there are others who need our help. When we give to others we come away with a sense of satisfaction that can’t be replicated.

Think of a time you’ve been there for someone and you will remember that feeling. Make this notion of serving others part of your weekly routine. You will be providing a life change for two people – yourself and the recipient of your kindness.

IT’S BETTER TO LOOK BACK ON LIFE AND SAY,
“I CAN’T BELIEVE I DID THAT,”

THAN TO LOOK BACK AND FEEL
“I WISH I DID THAT.”
